With San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) in full swing, NECA has begun showing off some of the horror collectibles they currently have in the works. Yesterday, we got a look at their second wave of Toony Terrors, but since then even more have been unveiled.
Continuing with the Toony Terrors theme, NECA has unveiled a Bride of Chucky Toony Terrors 2-pack featuring Chucky and Tiffany. The figures are in 6 inch scale and will fit in with the rest of the Toony Terrors collection.
Continuing with the Bride of Chucky theme, NECA has also unveiled all-new life-size replicas of both Chucky and Tiffany based on their appearance in Bride of Chucky.
These 1:1 scale dolls have been exactingly duplicated from measurements and references from the puppeteers who worked on the film in order to be the most screen-accurate representation ever made. The dolls are posable and feature life-like eyes, synthetic hair, and clothing that precisely matches the screen-used garments.
A price for the dolls was not announced, but both dolls are scheduled to be released sometime in February 2020.
While this week we got new Pennywise releases from Party City and Funko inspired by IT: Chapter Two, NECA is going old school IT with an 8″ Pennywise clothed figure.
Based on Tim Curry’s Pennywise from the 1990 IT horror mini-series, Pennywise comes wearing a fully sewn screen-accurate portrayal of the iconic costume and includes a balloon, two interchangeable heads, and interchangeable hands (regular gloved and monster).
The 8″ clothed Pennywise will be released sometime this December.
Finally, NECA unveiled two all-new 7″ scale ultimate figures with Annabelle from The Conjuring Universe and Pinhead from the Hellraiser franchise.
Annabelle joins The Crooked Man as the second Ultimate figure from The Conjuring Universe to be released. She is fully posable and stands approximately 6 inches tall and replicates the doll’s appearance from the latest Annabelle film, Annabelle Comes Home. The doll features a soft goods skirt and comes with interchangeable heads, her chair and museum doll case accessories.
NECA’s Ultimate Annabelle figure is scheduled to be released in December.
Finally, this October, Pinhead, the leader of the Cenobites, will be released as part of NECA’s Ultimate line. The figure features an all-new sculpt and comes with two interchangeable heads and open and closed Lament Configuration puzzle boxes.
Knowing NECA there is sure to be more announcements in the coming days, but I’d say this is a pretty solid lineup for being the first day f the convention!
