On Saturday, Netflix took over the Kia Forum in Los Angeles for its annual fan event, Tudum. During the event, director Guillermo del Toro and actors Oscar Isaac and Mia Goth took the stage to debut the official teaser for their upcoming film “Frankenstein.”
The latest film adaptation of the Mary Shelley novel stars Isaac as Dr. Victor Frankenstein, a brilliant but egotistical scientist who brings a creature to life in a monstrous experiment that ultimately leads to the undoing of both the creator and his tragic creation. Goth stars as Dr. Frankenstein’s fiancée, Elizabeth.
“Frankenstein” will premiere on Netflix in November.
Tudum is Netflix’s global fan event, named after the iconic sound that plays at the start of every Netflix movie, series, or event. Started in 2020, it is Netflix’s biggest celebration of fandom and culture-defining storytelling — spotlighting movies, shows, stars, and creators that fans around the world love.
