New Scooby-Doo Mystery Figures, Collectible Figures, and Playsets Arrive from Playmobil

Last year, Playmobil introduced a new line of toys inspired by the classic “Scooby-Doo Where Are You?” cartoons. Later in the year, the line was expanded to feature playsets that took inspiration from the full range of Scooby-Doo cartoons, including “Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated” and some of Scooby’s direct to DVD movies. Playmobil is expanding the line again with a new series of Mystery Figures, new playsets inspired by some of your favorite Scooby-Doo mysteries, and a series of new Scooby-Doo! Collectible Figures.

Scooby-Doo! Mystery Figures Series 2

The second series of Mystery Figures from Playmobil is perfect for the Scooby-Doo fans who want the figures but perhaps don’t want to spend the extra cash on the playsets to get them. Series 2 features 12 Mystery figures, and five of the figures were previously only available as part of the Scooby-Doo Playmobile playsets, including:

  • The Vampire – Previously only available as part of the Adventure in the Mystery Mansion playset.
  • Alice May – The villain from the “Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated” episode, “The Legend of Alice May,” who was previously only available in the Adventure in the Cemetery playset.
  • Dapper Danon – The villain from 2017’s “Scooby-Doo! Shaggy’s Showdown,” who was previously only available via the Adventure in the Wild West playset
  • The Mummy – Previously only available as part of the Adventure in Egypt playset
  • The Ghost of Witch McCoy – The villain from the classic “Scooby’s All Star Laff-a-Lympics” episode, “The Ozark Witch Switch,” previously only available in the Adventure in the Witch’s Cauldron playset

But Playmobil isn’t just packaging up a bunch of previously released figures as series 2. Seven additional figures have been added to the series inspired by the 2006 direct-to-DVD movie “Scooby-Doo! Pirates Ahoy!” the 2009 direct-to-DVD original movie “Scooby-Doo! and the Samurai Sword,” as well as the classic “Scooby-Doo Where Are You?” cartoons.

From “Scooby-Doo! Pirates Ahoy!” if fans are lucky, they’ll find Pirate Shaggy with deck swabbing mop accessory or Captain Skunkbeard, the zombie pirate captain.

From “Scooby-Doo! and the Samurai Sword,” fans have a chance at getting the movie’s villain, the Black Samurai, or they can get Fred in a samurai helmet and gloves with a spear and flashlight accessories or Daphne in her karate outfit.

Rounding out series two of the Scooby-Doo! Mystery Figures is a classic villain from “Scooby-Doo Where Are You?” the Wolfman, complete with a donut accessory and a new Velma figure dressed for mystery-solving in colder weather. Check out the full lineup of figures below:
