Official Trailer Arrives for Netflix’s ‘Wendell & Wild’

Netflix has finally released the trailer for “Wendell & Wild,” the new stop-motion animated feature from the minds of Henry Selick (“The Nightmare Before Christmas”) and Jordan Peele (“Nope”), which is set to debut on the streaming platform on October 28.

The new trailer gives us a bit more context around the lead character in the film, trouble teen Kat Elliott (Lyric Ross) and her connection to the underworld, and more specifically, the demon brothers Wendell and Wild, voiced by comedy icons Key & Peele.

The trailer suggests that after being rescued from a car accident as a young girl, Kat is left marked, making her a Hell Maiden and giving her a physical connection to her demons. That connection allows the demon brothers to trick Kat into bringing them from the underworld to the land of the living, and mayhem ensues.

“Wendell & Wild” features an all-star cast, including Angela Bassett, James Hong, and Ving Rhames.
