On Thursday, Paramount Pictures debuted the official trailer for “Scream 7,” the latest installment in the “Scream” franchise, which is slated to hit theaters on February 2, 2026.
The new trailer gives us our first glimpse of Neve Campbell reprising her role as Sidney Prescott. Campbell was a staple of the “Scream” franchise, appearing in every film until “Scream VI,” which she walked away from after being unable to secure a fair offer to reprise her role.
The trailer also features another long-time cast member from the franchise, Courteney Cox, who will reprise her role as cutthroat newswoman turned author Gale Weathers.
“Scream 7” sees the rise of a new Ghostface killer in the quiet town where Sidney Prescott has built a new life. When her daughter, played by Isabel May (“1923”), becomes the killer’s next target, Sidney is forced to face the horrors of her past and put an end to the bloodshed once and for all.
