‘Onyx the Fortuitous and the Talisman of Souls’ Arriving on Screambox and Digital in November

Following its one-night-only theatrical release, Director Andrew Bowser’s festival favorite horror-comedy “Onyx the Fortuitous and the Talisman of Souls” is heading to Screambox and Digital on November 14, 2023.

Written and directed by Bowser, “Onyx the Fortuitous and the Talisman of Souls” tells the story of Marcus J. Trillbury (Bowser), aka Onyx the Fortuitous, an amateur occultist struggling to find purpose with his soul-devouring side gig when he receives a coveted invitation to the mansion of his idol, Bartok the Great (Jeffrey Combs; “Re-Animator”). Here, he joins Bartok and his mysterious delegation to raise the spirit of an ancient demon for a once-in-a-lifetime ritual. The group soon realizes things are not what they seem, and Onyx and his new friends must fight to keep their souls.

The film also stars Barbara Crampton (“You’re Next”), Ralph Ineson (“The Witch”), Rivkah Reyes (“School of Rock”), T.C. Carson (“Final Destination 2”), Arden Myrin (“Insatiable”), and Melanie Chandra (“Code Black”). Bowser also produced the film along with Clark Baker, Michael Mobley, and Olivia Taylor Dudley.
