Aardman’s latest stop-motion adventure, “Shaun the Sheep: The Beast of Mossy Bottom,” brings cozy creature-feature chaos home, landing on major digital platforms Oct. 23, followed by a Blu-ray and DVD release Jan. 26, 2027, from GKIDS and distributor Radial Entertainment.
The critically acclaimed Halloween adventure serves as a comedic nod to classic horror movies. When the clumsy Farmer accidentally trashes the flock’s prized pumpkin patch, Shaun turns mad scientist to fix the disaster—only for his experiment to spiral out of control. With the Farmer missing and a wild beast terrorizing the woods of Mossingham, all the ingredients are in place for a monstrously fun family adventure.
The Blu-ray and DVD release includes several behind-the-scenes extras: creator featurettes, scene breakdowns covering “The Lab” and “Meeting the Vet,” a look at crafting the film’s poster, and official teasers and trailers.
