Earlier this year, we learned that horror streaming platform Shudder was teaming up with award-winning special effects artist and executive producer Greg Nicotero (“The Walking Dead”) for a new competition series called “Guts & Glory.” This week, it was announced that the Shudder Original Series will get a two-episode premiere on Tuesday, September 9, 2025.
“Guts & Glory” flips the script on the traditional competition show – thrusting players into an immersive horror experience full of unexpected challenges. The new series blends the intensity of a horror film with the pressure of a survival game where contestants are confronted with their fears in various scenarios. When first announced, Nicotero described the series as “if Survivor and The Blair Witch Project had a baby.”
Following its premiere, new episodes of the series will be released weekly on Shudder.
