Steven Kostanski’s (“PG: Psycho Goreman”) critically acclaimed reimagining of Roger Corman’s cult sword-and-sorcery film series “Deathstalker” is coming to Blu-ray on February 17, 2026, from Shout! Studios. The release includes numerous new bonus features, including audio commentary, interviews, a behind-the-scenes featurette, and more.
In this new vision, the Kingdom of Abraxeon is under siege by the Dreadites—heralds of the long-dead sorcerer Nekromemnon. Daniel Bernhardt (“John Wick”) stars as the titular Deathstalker. After recovering a cursed amulet from a corpse-strewn battlefield, the warrior finds himself marked by dark magick and hunted by a legion of monstrous assassins. To survive, he must break the curse and confront a rising primeval evil.
The film features a voice performance by Patton Oswalt (“Young Adult”) as the benevolent wizard Doodad, and a heavy-hitting score by Blitz//Berlin, featuring an original song collaboration between Slash and Bear McCreary.
