Stranger Things & Welcome to the Whedonverse Among Free Comic Book Day 2019 Titles Announced

The Free Comic Book Day (FCBD) Committee has selected the 12 Gold Sponsor comic book titles for Free Comic Book Day 2019, which will take place on May 4, 2019. Among those titles are a handful of books that Halloween and horror fans are bound to be excited about.

If you hadn’t heard, BOOM! Studios is the new home of Joss Whedon’s comic books based on his hit shows “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and “Firefly.” If you haven’t picked up the new series, this Free Comic Book Day 2019 title will be the perfect opportunity to jump on board since its a special dual issue will both a “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and “Firefly.”

Stranger Things & Black Hammer

Dark Horse will be releasing a new “Stranger Things” comic for Free Comic Book Day 2019, which will be paired with an issue from of the Eisner Award-winning Black Hammer series. Independent from the “Stranger Things” comic series released earlier this year, the new comic will be set in a time between season one and two of the show.

Eleven and the Demogorgon have disappeared from Hawkins, Indiana. Steve and Nancy try to cheer Mike up, encouraging him to get the adventuring party back together again.
