Earlier this year it was announced that Nickelodeon was rebooting the classic television series “Are You Afraid of the Dark?” as a limited series in time for Halloween. This week, Nick released the official trailer for the new limited series, which is set to premiere on October 11, 2019.
In the original “Are You Afraid of the Dark?” the Midnight Society would gather around a campfire to tell scary stories and those stories would unfold in each week’s episode. In the new miniseries, things will change a bit and the Midnight Society begin telling a tale about the Carnival of Doom, only to have the story come to life.
