The Disneyland Resort Has Unveiled It’s Full Line of Halloween Treats for 2018

For those of us living in SoCal, the Disneyland Resort has become more than a theme park, its also become a foodie paradise.  With special food events, seasonal foods and what feels like an ever-changing menu it has become a local favorite for food and drink.  Today the resort announced a slew of spooky and not-so-spooky Halloween snacks, sweets, and drinks.  Whether you’re looking for a full meal, a sweet snack, or something to wash it down with, we’ve broken down the released list to help you plan your next trip to the resort.

Entrees

If you’re looking for something a little bit more filling, the resort is also releasing a number of special seasonal entrees at its various restaurants. Here’s what’s on the menu:

  • Crab & Corn Chowder – Available at Café Orleans
  • Musubi Special: Spiced ham musubi with lemongrass jasmine rice and pineapple teriyaki sauce and served with pickled daikon and carrots topped with furikake flakes – Available at Bengal Barbecue
  • Haunted Firehouse Chicken Sandwich: Red pepper coulis, white cheese sauce, crispy pancetta, and arugula on yellow sliced bread – Available at Carnation Café
  • Halloween Hot Dog with spicy meatballs, cheese sauce, and oven-roasted tomatoes – Available at Refreshment Corner
  • Cosmic Chili Pasta: Pinwheel pasta, chili, cheese, and green onion – Available at Alien Pizza Planet
  • Bacon Cheddar Ale Soup – Available from Pacific Wharf Café
  • Anti Vampire Pizza: Roasted garlic sauce, marinated chicken smoked gouda, mozzarella, roasted red peppers, and a tomato-harissa sauce drizzle – Available at Boardwalk Pizza & Pasta
  • Spicy Pepper Jack Dog: Dipped in corn batter, drizzled with blackberry sauce, and topped with sweet pineapple salsa, pickled serranos, and crushed cheese puffs – Available at Corn Dog Castle
  • Oktoberfest Dog: Kielbasa sausage topped with caramelized onions, sauerkraut, Oktoberfest beer cheese, and green onions – Available at Award Wieners
  • Fire Dragon Tacos: Pork belly tacos with kimchi slaw, Korean BBQ sauce, and Sriracha crema – Available at the Studio Catering Truck
  • Slow-Burnin’and Cheese Cone: Fresh-cooked pasta with spicy red pepper cheese sauce topped with crushed chile-cheese puffs and served in a bread cone – Available at Cozy Cone Motel

A theme park staple, the churro, is getting nearly a dozen Halloween and fall flavored renditions at the resort.  Here’s a list of what they’ve got planned and where to find them:

  • Orange Churro with Candy Corn Sauce – Found near Big Thunder Mountain
  • Pumpkin Spice Churro – You can get this churro with cream cheese frosting near The Haunted Mansion, plain at Willie’s Churros, or with Cream Cheese Dipping Sauce at the Cozy Cone Motel
  • Churro Bites Cereal Sundae with fruit cereal-dusted churros, cereal milk anglaise, strawberry ice cream, and raspberry sauce – Found at Hungry Bear Restaurant
  • Churro Sundae with cookie butter gelato garnished with a cinnamon sugar-dusted churro and topped with cajeta and whipped cream – Found at Golden Horseshoe
  • Maleficent Churro covered with chocolate cookie crumbles blended with colored sugar and optional Marshmallow Dip – Found near Sleeping Beauty Castle and Town Square
  • Sour Apple Churro with the option of caramel sauce – Found near Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters
  • Purple, Green, and Orange Sugar Churros – All three churros can be found at Willie’s Churros in Disney California Adventure Park. The purple churro will also be available near Goofy’s Sky School
  • S’mores Churro with graham cracker, chocolate chips, and a marshmallow drizzle – Found near Redwood Creek Challenge Trail

Desserts

If you have a sweet tooth and a churro just won’t cut it, the Disneyland Resort has you covered with a rather large variety of desserts available throughout the resort. Some fall-like, some frightful, but all look delicious.  For fans of last year’s treats, the Bat Cookie and Candy Corn Cotton Candy, these will again be available.  The Bat Cookie will be flying into Fiddler, Fifer & Practical Café at Disney California Adventure park, Market House at Disneyland park, The Coffee House at Disneyland Hotel, and Surfside Lounge at Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel.  Candy Corn Cotton Candy will be available at various outdoor vending carts throughout the resort.  But here are the new desserts the resort is serving up this Halloween:

  • Black Rose Dessert: Black truffle mousse with raspberry compote and crunch center with a candy spider – Available at Red Rose Tavern
