“Midnight Margaritas” are officially back on the menu.
Warner Bros. cast a spell over the internet Monday morning with the debut of the official teaser trailer for “Practical Magic 2.” Arriving in theaters this September, the trailer offers the first look at the magic and mystery awaiting the Owens sisters, with Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman stepping back into their iconic roles as Sally and Gilly.
Directed by Susanne Bier (“Bird Box”), the sequel centers around the Owens—now a multi-generational family of witches—as they attempt to break the spell that has cursed them to be loveless for centuries.
In a move that will delight fans of the 1998 original, Stockard Channing and Dianne Wiest also return as the legendary Aunts Franny and Jet. However, the family tree is growing; the sequel boasts an impressive ensemble of new talent, including Lee Pace (“Foundation”), Maisie Williams (“Game of Thrones”), Joey King (“The Act”), Xolo Maridueña (“Cobra Kai”), and Solly McLeod (“Brothers Under Fire”).

In the 1998 cult classic, sisters Sally and Gilly Owens are witches born under a curse that kills any man who falls in love with them.
