Prepare for the pumpkin spice apocalypse with the arrival of the Steam page launch for “Strange Brew,” a 3D action platformer where players must survive a horde of zombies brought on by pumpkin spice.
In “Strange Brew,” players play as Joe the Duck, the mascot for MoonDucks Coffee, a coffee company that uses Joe’s hometown as their quiet testing grounds for new and experimental formulas. Once their biggest cheerleader, Joe the Duck, must use his caffeine addiction to his advantage, channeling his high-octane reflexes, incredible alertness, and nervous energy to sprint and jump, dodge and deke, to survive the zombies who drank the pumpkin spice.
Featuring 10 levels of coffee-fueled zombie mayhem, players will traverse coffee shops, monorails, underground laboratories, and nuclear power plants, all while being pursued by zombies that never rest. But Joe knows the hordes are too formidable to outmaneuver or outrun, so players can use coffee beans to slow and distract zombies or leverage electrical traps/shock hazards, collapsing infrastructure, runaway heavy equipment, and interactions with wrecking balls, conveyor belts, and more for even more destruction.
