For those who like their Funko Pop! figures a bit more gory, Entertainment Earth is releasing an exclusive variant of Ichabod Crane covered in blood. Directed by Tim Burton and starring Johnny Depp as Ichabod Crane, the 1999 film “Sleepy Hollow” reimagines Washington Irving’s classic short story as a gothic horror mystery. The film follows Ichabod Crane, a New York constable, who is sent to the remote village of Sleepy Hollow to investigate a series of gruesome beheadings. The villagers blame the murders on the Headless Horseman, a vengeful Hessian soldier’s ghost. A staunch man of science, Ichabod scoffs at the supernatural explanation, but a terrifying encounter with the Horseman shatters his skepticism. He must then race to uncover the truth behind the murders and the conspiracy controlling the spectral killer before he, too, loses his head.
