Halloween and horror collectibles maker Trick or Treat Studios has launched a Kickstarter for a new officially licensed board game inspired by Rob Zombie’s 2003 film, “House of 1000 Corpses.”

Join the Firefly family in a cooperative game and decide the fate of the intruders in a unique take where you play as the villains. For one to four players, players must hunt down victims scattered across iconic locations from the film that must be dealt with!

To get the game, you must pledge at least $59 to the campaign. A $70 tier is also available and includes a set of nine plastic miniatures that can be used with the game. Those who purchase the game through the Kickstarter campaign will also receive four Kickstarter-exclusive dual layer player mats featuring core characters Otis Driftwood, Baby Firefly, Mother Firefly, and Captain Spaulding.

“House of 1000 Corpses” was Rob Zombie’s directorial debut and an homage to the grindhouse horror of the 70s. The film spawned two sequels, “The Devil’s Rejects” and “3 From Hell,” and introduced us to the iconic characters Captain Spaulding, Otis Driftwood, and Baby Firefly, played by Sid Haig, Bill Mosely, and Sheri Moon Zombie. The film tells of a family of backwoods sadists who plunge two young couples into a nightmare world of torture, satanic ritual, and cannibalism.
