Trick or Treat Studios Unveils Slew of New Products During Comic-Con@Home Streaming Event

Comic-Con@Home may have ended last weekend, but Trick Or Treat Studios decided to extend the fun with its own streaming event on Saturday. Hosted by Trick or Treat Studios’ Creative Lead and Graphic Designer Sam Furst, the live stream event featured interviews with Trick or Treat Studios founders Chris Zephro and Justin Mabry and key artists like Russ Lukich, Alex Ray, and Jasper Anderson to share with fans a bit more about their backgrounds and more importantly to reveal some all-new products that the company will be releasing later this year.

Gremlins 2

The first reveal announced during the stream was that Trick or Treat Studios would be completing its lineup of “Gremlins 2” posable props with the addition of the remaining two Mogwai, George and Mohawk. The two new fully posable Mogwai will join the previously announced Gizmo, Lenny, and Daffy props. The George and Mohawk posable props will not be available until 2022; however, it was announced during the stream that the first three Mogwai will be available for pre-order soon.

House of 1000 Corpses

During the streaming event, Trick or Treat Studios also revealed the retro style packaging for May’s surprise release, Finger Lickin’ Pistol Whippin’ Captain Spaulding. And like all classic action figure packaging, the back of the packaging showcases the rest of the line. That’s right; Captain Spaulding will be joined by a number of the other memorable characters from Rob Zombie’s “House of 1000 Corpses” in 2022 with the release of:

  • Showtime Baby Firefly
  • Rabbit Roastin’ Otis Driftwood
  • Rippin’ Axe Professor
  • Driller Killer Doctor Satan

Each five-inch figure will come with its own unique features and accessories. Pre-orders for wave two of the figures will be available later this year.

Halloween

Trick or Treat Studios is also expanding on its 1:6 scale Michael Myers Collectible Figures line. Michael Myers figures from “Halloween II” and “Halloween 6” will be joining the previously released “Halloween,” “Halloween 4,” “Halloween 5,” and “Halloween (2018)” figures.

The Halloween II Michael Myers 1:6 Scale Figure will include interchangeable blood tears style head, jack-o-lantern, syringe, knife, hammer, and four additional hands.

Trick ‘r Treat

Another 1:6 scale reveal made during the event was that of Sam from the film “Trick ‘r Treat.” Scheduled for an early 2022 release, the Trick ‘r Treat Sam 1:6 Scale Figure will include a sidewalk base, masked and unmasked heads, an additional set of hands, two lollipops, and a razor blade candy bar.

Ghosts of Halloween

Trick or Treat Studios also announced that it would be again working with accomplished sculptor William Paquet, this time for an original line created by Paquet called “Ghosts of Halloween.” The new line of three highly detailed resin statues is based on the eerie photos of Halloween costumes from the early 1900s.

Child’s Play

For fans of the “Child’s Play” franchise, Trick or Treat Studios unveiled its Childs Play 2 Ultimate Chucky Replica. Its newest addition to the Chucky line will feature movable eyes and an interchangeable head and hand system. The new system will allow fans to swap out different heads and hands for the figures, which will be sold separately, allowing for different looks and poses. The doll will also feature embedded magnets in its hands to help hold various accessories for the doll that will be sold separately.

The first additional head and hand set is currently in development and will be inspired by “Child’s Play 3” and features Chucky with the chunk out of his face sliced off, exposing the webbing and gore beneath.
