The first full trailer for “Victorian Psycho” has arrived, offering fans a deeper look at director Zachary Wigon’s (“Sanctuary”) new gothic thriller that hits theaters this fall.
Set in 19th-century England, the film stars Maika Monroe (“Longlegs”) as Winifred Notty, an eccentric governess hired by the wealthy Pounds family at their isolated countryside manor. As Winifred settles into teaching the couple’s two children, household staff begin to inexplicably disappear — forcing her employers to question who, or what, they brought into their home.
The ensemble cast includes Jason Isaacs (The “Harry Potter” franchise), Thomasin McKenzie (“Last Night in Soho”), and Ruth Wilson (“Luther”).
