Universal Horror Unleashed, the new year-round horror experience coming to Las Vegas’ AREA15 this August, has released a new video detailing its The Exorcist: Believer haunted house, which will be one of four haunted houses that will be part of the experience when it opens later this year.
Based on the film “The Exorcist: Believer,” this all-new haunted house follows the film’s story, leading up to a dynamic moment when guests will experience firsthand the exorcism of the two girls.
In the new video, Universal details some of what guests can expect from this haunted house, including some of the special effects planned for the final scene.
This isn’t the first time Universal has tackled “The Exorcist: Believer” in a haunted house. In 2023, Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood both had houses based on the Universal Pictures film from Blumhouse and Morgan Creek Entertainment.
Universal Horror Unleashed will open on August 14, 2025. In addition to four haunted houses pulled from Universal’s library of classic and modern horror favorites, it will feature four fully themed immersive entertainment areas, each with unique live horror experiences and food and drink offerings. Tickets to Universal Horror Unleashed start at just $69 and are available for purchase now.
Released in 2023, “The Exorcist: Believer” follows Victor Fielding, a single father whose daughter, Angela, and her friend Katherine return from a three-day disappearance with missing memories and displaying frightening behavior. As their condition worsens, revealing demonic possession, Victor seeks help from Chris MacNeil, who famously experienced her daughter’s possession decades prior and may be the key to combating ultimate evil.
