Universal Horror Unleashed, the new year-round horror experience coming to Las Vegas’ AREA15, has released a behind-the-scenes look at The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, one of four haunted houses that will be part of the experience when it opens in August.
The new house, inspired by “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre,” will evoke the 1974 film and take guests inside the Sawyer family farmhouse. The house’s story will follow that of the film and take guests through several known locations as well as all-new locations that weren’t explored in the movie, all while being pursued by the film’s killer: Leatherface.
Universal Horror Unleashed will open on August 14, 2025, and in addition to four haunted houses pulled from Universal’s library of classic and modern horror favorites, it will feature four fully themed immersive entertainment areas, each with unique live horror experiences and food and drink offerings.
