Universal Studios Hollywood Announces All-New Original Maze for Halloween Horror Nights, “Holidayz in Hell”

Sure, its only April, but Universal Studios has made its second major Halloween Horror Nights maze announcement in the last month. Late in March the theme park announced an all-new “Stranger Things” maze based on season two and three of the hit Netflix series, and now they have announced that Universal Studios Hollywood will be home to a new original maze called “Holidayz in Hell.”

Inspired by the popular scare zone of the same name, the “Holidayz in Hell” maze will mix everything from New Year’s Eve to Valentine’s Day, from Easter to the Fourth of July and from Thanksgiving to Christmas, adding a demented twist to your favorite holidays. Guests will encounter a tortured Tunnel of Love, inhabited by a crazed Cupid on a quest for hearts to break or take; an unhinged Uncle Sam will create a sinister July 4th killerbration; treacherous turkeys will gobble, gobble an unsuspecting family; and a sick Santa will adorn Christmas Trees with human body parts, with many other milestone killer holidays. All of which, will be accompanied by an original score by Electronic Music Artist and Producer Figure along with remixes of your favorite holiday tunes.

The holiday horror doesn’t end with the maze though, as Universal has also announced a creepy Christmas-themed scare zone with additional frights.

“Halloween Horror Nights” at Universal Studios Hollywood begins Friday, September 13.
