Warner Bros. Announces ‘Horror Made Here’ Will Not Return for 2019

Horror Made Here A Festival of Frights

In an email this morning, the Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood announced that “Horror Made Here: A Festival Of Frights,” their signature Halloween event featuring mazes and experiences based on their IP’s like IT, The Conjuring, Freddy vs. Jason and the like, would not be returning in 2019.

The news comes at a bizarre time considering the buzz around “I Like Scary Movies,” which debuted this month and features a number of WB and New Line Cinema properties. Not to mention the slew of new horror films coming from the studios later this year including , The Curse of La Llorona on April 19th, Annabelle Comes Home on June 28th, IT Chapter Two on September 6th, and Doctor Sleep on November 8th.

Despite the disappointing news, the email did reveal that they are making a major announcement about the Studio Tour later in the year, so perhaps there is still something spooky in store for horror fans, we just have to wait a bit to find out! The announcement also suggests that perhaps this is just a one-year hiatus as both the email and the “Horror Made here: A Festival Of Frights” website say to check back in 2020.
