Last year we were treated to a teaser for the upcoming “The Walking Dead” spinoff “World Beyond.” The two-season limited event is set to premiere this April and this week AMC dropped a new teaser that introduces us to more characters and a bit more about the series’ storyline.
“The Walking Dead: World Beyond” will feature two young female protagonists and focus on the first generation to come-of-age in the apocalypse as we know it.
From the new teaser, we can gather that the leading characters will be joined by a group of friends as they set out on a cross country journey to find their father. Along the way, it appears they’ll face off against many of the dangers and harsh realities we have come to expect from “The Walking Dead,” which means plenty of human and undead monsters to boot.
“The Walking Dead: World Beyond” premieres Sunday, April 12 at 10/9c.
