LEGO Builder Recreates Iconic Horror Scenes in the Form of LEGO Vignettes

First off, I want to start by saying that this is in no means a LEGO blog. I know a lot of the posts recently have been LEGO related, but that’s because the folks over at The Brothers Brick keep unearthing some epic LEGO builds that happen to be horror themed.  The latest find comes from an artist from Romania who goes by the name Letranger Absurde.  Over the last year, Absurde has released a total of 12 different horror movie vignettes.  The latest entry in the series comes from 1984’s A Nightmare on Elm Street and recreates the famous scene where Freddy tries to push his way through the wall above Nancy’s bed while she sleeps.

A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984)

Absurde has recreated scenes from everything from the 1968 Vincent Price film The Conqueror Worm to SAW. The full collection can be seen here, but I’ve included some of my favorites for your viewing pleasure below.

The Exorcist (1973)

The Evil Dead (1981)

Scream (1996)

SAW (2004)

If you like these you may want to check out the rest of the artist’s works. While many of the pieces are funny figures and faces there are some great creations peppered amongst them like this Haunted Mansion-esque graveyard piece, this tribute to Stephen King’s IT and every geek’s favorite stoners Jay and Silent Bob.
