Midsummer Scream has been dropping a lot of great news over the last few weeks.  Yesterday they announced a panel on the past and future of Ben Cooper Costumes, this past weekend they announced a special guest appearance from Sid Haig of House of 1000 Corpses fame, and earlier this month they announced Casandra Peterson, a.k.a Elvira, would be making an appearance.  Tonight, Midsummer Scream announced some more exciting news by sharing that Slashed: The Musical would be performing twice as part of the event on Sunday, July 30.
Slashed: The Musical was a huge hit and sold out nightly at the Hollywood Fringe Festival. Â This musical comedy is a love-letter to the classic 80’s Summer Camp Slasher Genre and features a cast of characters that you know and love, but with a twist, and original songs inspired by 1980’s Top 40 radio.
