According to the Disney Parks Blog, Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort is set to return for 2018 on September 7, a week earlier than 2017. The seasonal celebration will return to both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park through Halloween and will include themed decor, attraction overlays, seasonal treats and merchandise and well as spooky encounters with your favorite characters.The Nightmare Before Christmas’ Oogie Boogie will return in 2018 to take over Disney California Adventure Park and add his spooky touch to Buena Vista Street and the Carthay Circle Theatre. In Cars Land Lightning, Mater, and the rest of your four-wheeled friends will once again celebrate Haul-O-Ween as Radiator Springs turns into Radiator Screams. During the event, Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree will transform into Mater’s Graveyard JamBOOree and Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters will become Luigi’s Honkin’ Haul-O-Ween. In Hollywood Land, Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! will transform nightly into Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark.At Disneyland, the annual Pumpkin Festival will take over Main Street, U.S.A. The Haunted Mansion and Space Mountain will both get holiday overlays with Haunted Mansion Holiday and Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy.The Nightmare Before Christmas’ Oogie Boogie in Haunted Mansion HolidayMickey’s Halloween Party will also return in 2018 for 15 nights. Guests will have the chance to experience exclusive entertainment and characters while trick-or-treating throughout Disneyland park in an after-hours, separate-ticket event. Tickets for the event will go on-sale on June 5 for Disneyland Resort Annual Passholders, Disney Rewards Visa card holders and Disney Vacation Club members and on June 12 for the general public. Tickets will be available online, at the Disneyland Resort main gate, or by phone at (714) 781-4400.
