“Project Songbird” arrived on Thursday, bringing the narrative-driven, psychological horror to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. To mark the launch, developer FYREE Games has unveiled a brand-new trailer for the game, showcasing its cinematic eye and intense narrative.
In “Project Songbird,” players step into the shoes of Dakota, a struggling musician seeking refuge in a remote Appalachian cabin to record a new album. As they scour the pines for a spark of creativity, they soon discover something more lurks in the darkness – and that not all inspirations are positive.
The experience is anchored by a stellar voice cast, featuring Valerie Rose Lohman (What Remains of Edith Finch), Jonah Scott (Dying Light 2), and Aleks Le (Persona 3 Reload). Their performances drive a story that juxtaposes lush, realistic forests with surreal and nightmarish locations, all set to a hauntingly dynamic soundtrack composed and performed by Jacob Noska and Jonah Henthorne of the band Auric Echoes.
You can grab “Project Songbird” now for $14.99. If you’re playing on PC or PS5, you can snag an additional 10% discount during launch week.
