Jamie Lee Curtis’ Slasher Classic ‘Prom Night’ Gets the Tabletop Treatment—Pre-Orders Now Open

This week, Beyond Killer Games opened pre-orders for the latest entry in its “Stop the Killer” series: Prom Night: The Game. Based on the 1980 cult-classic slasher starring the legendary Jamie Lee Curtis, this tabletop adaptation brings the tension of Hamilton High to your dining room table.

Designed by Anthony Masi, the game is a cooperative survival experience for one to four players. Taking on the roles of eight different characters—including Kim Hammond (Curtis)—players must scramble to prevent an axe-wielding maniac from crashing the senior prom. Roll dice, draw cards, overcome obstacles, and buy time, because if the killer breaches the school doors, it’s game over!

The game is currently available for pre-order for $49 on the Beyond Killer Games website, with shipping slated for December 2026.

For the die-hard fans, or those looking for some added elements to the gameplay, there is an extra incentive to move fast: the first 100 customers to pre-order will receive the Prom Night Trivia Expansion for free. This add-on introduces a “setback round” that triggers if the killer gets too close to the dance floor. To push him back, players must test their horror movie knowledge using 30 movie-based trivia cards and a high-stakes 15-second sand timer.
