While “Lee Cronin’s The Mummy” is still playing in many theaters across the U.S., Warner Bros. released the film to home audiences on Tuesday for digital rental or purchase.
Written and directed by Cronin, the film follows the mysterious disappearance of a young girl who is discovered eight years later, alive and entombed inside a mummy’s sarcophagus. The broken family is shocked by her sudden return, but what should be a joyful reunion quickly spirals into a living nightmare, leaving them to wonder: “What happened to Katie?”
The film stars Jack Reynor (“The Peripheral”), Laia Costa (“Victoria”), May Calamawy (“Moon Knight”), Natalie Grace (“1923”), and Veronica Falcón (“Ozark”).
“Lee Cronin’s The Mummy” has split critics, currently sitting at a 47% score on Rotten Tomatoes. Audiences, however, have warmed to the film, giving it a 74% rating thanks to its gore-heavy horror and intense thrills.
The film is available to rent or purchase digitally on all major platforms, including Prime Video, Apple TV, and Fandango at Home. Physical media collectors can look forward to the film’s 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD release on July 13, 2026.
