This week, HalloweenCostumes.com debuted its 2026 Halloween animatronics lineup, and it’s officially the largest the industry has ever seen—both in volume and in scale.
The retailer dropped over 75 new animatronics, ranging from spooky original designs to collaborations with famous haunters like Brick Thunder. Pop culture fans are eating well this year, with licensed characters spanning Edward Scissorhands, Poppy Playtime, and—believe it or not—a massive Lord of the Rings centerpiece that costs as much as a car.
You can check out the official launch video with highlights above, but I’ve curated some of the coolest, creepiest, and most jaw-dropping standouts from the lineup below:
Lord of the Rings Balrog Animatronic – $24,999.99
Let’s start with one of the largest (and most expensive) retail animatronics ever created. This literal shadow and flame stands nearly 14 feet tall. Its terrifying features include a panning head, a raising-and-lowering whip arm, flapping wings, and mouth movements synced to the film’s audio. To top it off, it features blinking red eyes, a glowing flame whip, and a flaming mane with remote-adjustable lighting. You just might need to take out a second mortgage to put it in your front yard.
Ash Army of Darkness Animatronic – $349.99
This officially licensed Army of Darkness exclusive features a molded body sculpted to recreate Bruce Campbell’s iconic look, complete with his S-Mart name tag and torn shirt. It comes with three interchangeable components to customize your display: the chainsaw hand, the gauntlet hand, and the infamous Necronomicon. While his motion is limited mostly to arm movement, it’s still a groovy addition to any horror setup.

Dark Knight Joker Animatronic – $299.99
Heath Ledger’s legendary performance is recreated in this officially licensed exclusive. Standing over six feet tall, The Joker slowly moves his left arm to open his jacket, revealing a terrifying arsenal of explosives attached to his right thumb. His head turns as he speaks several direct, chilling quotes from the film.
Edward Scissorhands Animatronic – $349.99
This life-sized Edward Scissorhands exclusive features a molded head and hands, realistic wig-fiber hair, and black faux-leather clothing with molded buckles. He looks spectacular from every angle. When activated, he plays pleasant, melancholic music accompanied by expert scissor “snips” as his waist, head, and namesake hands rotate.
Batman Animated Series Harley Quinn Animatronic – $299.99
Straight out of Gotham’s classic 90s cartoon, this Harley Quinn features a molded face, mallet, prop pistol, and her signature shiny black-and-red harlequin outfit. Triggered via motion detection, voice control, or a standard switch, her head rotates side-to-side while she raises her arm to fire a “Bang!” flag from her pistol. She also delivers four dialogue lines in that unmistakable animated series style.
Batman Animated Series Joker Animatronic – $249.99
Of course, what’s Harley without her Puddin’? To match Harley, this exclusive animated-series Joker features a rotating head and a card-holding hand that sweeps side to side. He delivers five spoken lines inspired by the series.
The Goonies Sloth Animatronic – $349.99
“Hey you guys!” Bring the ’80s nostalgia to your porch with this exclusive Sloth animatronic. Standing over six and a half feet tall with detailed facial artwork, he comes dressed in his iconic Superman T-shirt and suspenders, complete with pirate accessories like a hat, bandana, and jacket.
Poppy Playtime CatNap Animatronic – $399.99
This CatNap animatronic is an absolute unit, boasting a depth of 55 inches and a width of 40 inches. His head sweeps left to right as his yellow eyes glow, real fog pours from his open mouth, and a red light illuminates the mist. Covered in incredibly soft fleece fur, he looks exactly like the indie horror game render come to life. It cycles through three audio tracks featuring heavy breathing, machinery sounds, and warning buzzers.
Poppy Playtime Huggy Wuggy Animatronic – $349.99
If CatNap wasn’t enough, the towering 7.5-foot Huggy Wuggy is built on a sturdy metal frame wrapped in long-pile faux fur. His free-hanging arms sway naturally with his movements, and motion detection triggers a two-phase scare: phase one tilts his head side-to-side with in-game phrases, while phase two leaps him forward with glowing yellow eyes for maximum nightmare fuel.
Coraline Other Mother Animatronic – $349.99
Captured perfectly from Laika’s stop-motion masterpiece, this Other Mother animatronic recreates her deeply unsettling, elongated proportions—from her otherworldly thin waist to her wide hips. Dressed in a black-and-white dotted fabric dress, she has a molded face, terrifying button eyes, and a wispy wig. When motion is detected, her head sweeps side to side at a downward angle as she delivers five creepy phrases from the film.
Poltergeist Clown Animatronic – $279
The creepy clown doll from the film “Poltergeist” is brought to life in this all-new exclusive animatronic. Standing five feet tall, the clown features a head that rotates at the neck, shifting LED eyes, and a body that pivots and leans in all directions while cycling through a range of high-pitched to low, demonic laughter.
Gourdgeous the Vintage Pumpkin Witch Animatronic – $129.99
Affordable, adorable, and created in partnership with creator WitchyWoman11, this original design is perfect for those who prefer vintage, cozy Halloween vibes over gore. She sways left and right while delivering one of two cheerful voice tracks.
Laugh Track Jack the Sinister Smiling Clown Animatronic – $299.99
Rounding out my list is a fantastic original concept. Laugh Track Jack holds a microphone in one hand and a retro “mouth box” speaker in the other. As Jack taunts your guests, the LED spectrum indicator lights on the mouth box pulse and shift in perfect sync with his audio lines.
Of course, the above is just a fraction of what HalloweenCostumes.com has available for the 2026 Halloween season. To check out the full collection, head over to HalloweenCostumes.com.
