Tubi has revealed a first look at horror icon Cassandra Peterson in “R.L. Stine’s Pumpkinhead 2,” set to premiere Oct. 9 on the streaming platform.
Best known as Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, Peterson joins the sequel in an undisclosed role. Early images suggest a witchy turn for the horror veteran.
Based on the story by R.L. Stine, the sequel follows the events of the 2025 original. When a new curse awakens in Redhaven, protagonists Sam and Becka must race to stop the threat before it consumes the entire town.
Filmmaker Jem Garrard returns to write and direct the feature.
