‘Halloween 5’ DLC Comes to Halloween: The Game With New Map, Michael Myers Skins

Halloween: The Game is launching its first post-launch content update Oct. 27, bringing the 1989 film “Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers” to life with a brand-new map and legendary Killer skins.

The free map update introduces the Tower Farm, a quaint farming community just outside Haddonfield where country roads, cornfields, and overgrown brush replace the franchise’s traditional suburban neighborhood settings. Anchored by a lit filling station, the wide-open layout creates high-tension “no-man’s-land” zones where Civilians must sprint between farmhouses, barns, and sheds to escape the Boogeyman.

Autumnal details—including a local harvest festival, a trailer park, and pumpkin-filled gardens bathed in setting sunlight—give the map a distinct seasonal atmosphere while providing fresh hiding spots and sightlines for both Survivors and Michael.

Alongside the map, players can purchase a new cosmetic skin based on Michael Myers’ appearance in “Halloween 5.” A second paid skin variant captures his look from 2018’s “Halloween,” featuring a mask design supervised by Oscar-winning makeup effects artist Christopher Nelson, who sculpted the masks for David Gordon Green’s recent trilogy (“Halloween,” “Halloween Kills,” and “Halloween Ends”).

The Oct. 27 update also adds two new playable Civilians and a seasonal Halloween costume pack, marking the start of a year-long post-launch content roadmap from developer IllFonic.

“1978 was only the beginning,” said Jared Gerritzen, Chief Creative Officer, IllFonic. “With the Tower Farm map, we take the terror of that first event in Haddonfield into somewhere wide open, where there’s nowhere to hide except in the dark – where Michael Myers truly comes to life.”

Halloween: The Game is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, priced at $39.99 for the Standard Edition and $59.99 for the Deluxe Edition.
