Amazon MGM Studios has announced that its aquatic horror “The Devil’s Mouth” will premiere globally on Prime Video on July 29, 2026.
Directed by genre veteran Jeff Wadlow (“Imaginary”), the film boasts a stacked ensemble of rising young talent, including Kathryn Newton (“Ready or Not 2: Here I Come”), Lana Condor (“Pretty Lethal”), Nico Hiraga (“Booksmart”), Gavin Casalegno (“The Summer I Turned Pretty”), and Tommi Rose (“Sweet Magnolias”).
Set against the stunning but treacherous backdrop of Thailand’s coastal caves, “The Devil’s Mouth” follows five friends embarking on one final, epic adventure before adulthood sets in. The group signs up for a guided swim through a remote, labyrinthine cave system—a natural wonder that quickly turns into a claustrophobic nightmare.
Deep inside the labyrinth of narrow waterways, their journey takes a terrifying turn when they discover that a freak storm the week before flooded the freshwater caves with sea life. While most of the displaced creatures died in the ecosystem shift, something massive, silent, and predatory survived. And it’s hunting them.
As the group gets lost in the suffocating darkness, panic takes over, trust erodes, and the vacation devolves into a savage game of survival where sacrifices are mandatory to make it out alive.
