AMC is officially heading back to Comic-Con International in San Diego with a massive lineup of star-studded panels, exclusive fan screenings, and major sneak peeks.
This year’s slate features heavy hitters like “The Walking Dead: Dead City,” the Immortal Universe’s “The Vampire Lestat,” and “YAGA”—the alluring new AMC+ mystery series inspired by Slavic folklore. Shudder will also be representing the horror crowd with two major anniversary panels.
The Walking Dead: Dead City

The cast and executive producers of “The Walking Dead: Dead City” are descending on Hall H to celebrate the upcoming third season, which premieres Sunday, July 26 on AMC and AMC+. Fans will get an exclusive sneak peek at the premiere episode. Moderated by Entertainment Weekly’s Dalton Ross, the panel features Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Executive Producer/“Negan”), Lauren Cohan (Executive Producer/“Maggie”), Aimee Garcia (“Renata”), Raúl Castillo (“Omar”), Seth Hoffman (Showrunner/Executive Producer), and Scott Gimple (Executive Producer).
In season three, Maggie (Cohan) and Negan (Morgan) finally put aside their differences to build the first thriving community in Manhattan since the apocalypse, but when chaos in the city begins to arise, they are forced to question: have they learned from their old wounds, or will their dark past spell doom for the entire city?

The Vampire Lestat

“The Vampire Lestat” makes its historic Hall H debut! The session kicks off with highlights from the electrifying The Vampire Lestat: One Night Only Live music performance. Afterward, Rotten Tomatoes’ Jacqueline Coley will moderate a panel breaking down the epic season, which concludes on Sunday, July 19. Panelists include Jacob Anderson (“Louis du Pointe du Lac”), Assad Zaman (“Armand”), Eric Bogosian (“Daniel Molloy”), Rolin Jones (Creator/Showrunner), Mark Johnson (Executive Producer), and Hannah Moscovitch (Executive Producer).
YAGA
- When: Saturday, July 25 at 12:30 p.m.
- Where: Indigo Ballroom, Hilton Bayfront
Comic-Con attendees will get an exclusive first look at “YAGA,” a contemporary mystery thriller based on the play by Kat Sandler that reimagines the Slavic folk tale of the Baba Yaga witch. TV Guide and TV Insider’s Damian Holbrook will moderate a discussion with showrunner Kat Sandler and cast members Noah Reid (“Schitt’s Creek”), Clark Backo (“Venom: The Last Dance”), and Carrie-Anne Moss (“The Matrix” films).
The series follows Rapp (Reid), a private investigator who arrives in a small coastal town to investigate the disappearance of Henry Park (Hudson Williams, “Heated Rivalry”), a young heir to a powerful fishing company. Rapp quickly finds himself at odds with a wary local detective (Backo), a charismatic university professor (Moss), and a labyrinth of enigmatic suspects, secret lives, and ancient magic.
Bold Voice of Contemporary Horror 10th Anniversary Panel

Shudder is celebrating a decade of scares by bringing together some of the most influential voices in horror to discuss the state of indie and studio genre media. The panel will feature exclusive footage from future releases and standout festival titles.
Moderated by Overlook Film Festival Co-Founder and Director of Film Programming, Michael Lerman, the lineup includes Deborah Ann Woll, star of Shudder’s upcoming film “The Cycle,” Dan Stevens, star of AMC’s “The Terror: Devil in Silver,” Zachary Wigon (“Victorian Psycho”), and Dave Boyle (“Never After Dark”).
First in Fright with Fangoria Panel
