Rent or own the nightmare when it arrives exclusively on Digital November 4, 2025, or add it to your physical media collection when it arrives on 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD December 23, 2025, from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment.
Director Scott Derickson (“Sinister”) returns to continue the nightmare, unleashing scenes that are darker, deadlier, and more terrifying than the original. Ethan Hawke (“First Reformed”) reprises his most disturbing role as the deranged serial killer, The Grabber, opposite Mason Thames (“How to Train Your Dragon” franchise) as Finn. Expanding on the original short story by Joe Hill, Black Phone 2 comes home loaded with all-new bonus content, including seven deleted scenes and in-depth featurettes.
True evil transcends death, and the black phone rings again as The Grabber torments Finn from beyond the grave by menacing his sister Gwen (Madeline McGraw; “Secrets of Sulphur Springs”). Haunted by horrific visions, the teens set out to stop their psychological torture only to uncover a disturbing secret as they confront a killer who has only grown more powerful in death.
The film’s supernatural dread is amplified by its eerie, atmospheric setting: a deserted, snowed-in church camp high in the Colorado mountains. This chilling isolation and terrifying tension combine to weave an unforgettable, visceral journey.
“Black Phone 2” also features outstanding performances from a talented ensemble cast, including Demiรกn Bichir (“The Nun”), Miguel Mora (“The Black Phone”), Jeremy Davies (“Justified”), and Arianna Rivas (“A Working Man”).
