On Thursday, during The Game Awards 2025, GPTRACK50 Inc. officially revealed its debut original title: “Stupid Never Dies.” The NetEase-backed studio is led by industry veteran Hiroyuki Kobayashi and staffed by a powerhouse team of action-game experts with credits on legendary franchises like “Devil May Cry,” “Dragon’s Dogma,” and “Resident Evil.”
The announcement arrived via a high-energy, music video-style teaser trailer. Set to a fast-paced pop-punk theme song, the footage introduced players to the game’s core duo: a zombie protagonist named Davy and the human heroine, Julia. The trailer captures the game’s vibrant world and energetic spirit, offering a glimpse into the unique chemistry between the two leads.
In the game, Davy will be joined by a cast of unique allies who support him as he ventures into another world where he will face off against a distinctive rogues gallery of iconic enemy monsters, including werewolves, lizardmen, and skeletons, in a fresh take on the Action RPG genre. GPTRACK50 has dubbed this new gameplay style “Blazing Fast Growth.”
While further details regarding the story and mechanics remain under wraps, “Stupid Never Dies” is currently slated for a 2026 release on PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam.
