MadLab Entertainment Group is putting a horrific twist on the celebrity interview format. Its upcoming digital series, “Celebrity Scares,” pairs candid star interviews with terrifying trips through premier commercial haunted attractions across the U.S. Think “Hot Ones,” but with jump scares instead of hot sauce.
Season 1 features an eclectic lineup of horror icons, musicians, and professional wrestlers, including Chris Jericho, Shawnee Smith, Kane Hodder, Bill Moseley, Linnea Quigley, Michael Berryman, and Ken Foree.
Hosted by Beverly Thomas, better known as Spooky Kisses, each episode begins with a relaxed walk-and-talk conversation with the featured celebrity, exploring their career, their connection to horror and Halloween, and the things that frighten them. Then the lights go down, and Thomas and her guest navigate an immersive haunt together, using live actors and elaborate sets as the backdrop for the interview.
Production kicks off this fall, traveling to acclaimed haunts nationwide to give every episode a distinct aesthetic. The show builds on Thomas’s existing series, “Spooky Kisses Haunts,” which has taken viewers behind the scenes of haunted attractions and the people who create them and is currently streaming on Prime Video and Tubi.
“Celebrity Scares” will premiere on YouTube in November 2026, with new episodes scheduled approximately every three weeks. The series will release additional short-form content across its social media channels between episodes. The official premiere date, full guest roster, and featured haunt locations will be announced following production.
