Chips Ahoy! is kicking off Halloween early with a sci-fi-themed snack drop and a massive cash bounty for sweet-toothed sleuths.
The brand announced its limited-edition Chips Ahoy! Mystery Cookie on Thursday, wrapped in spooky caution tape and backed by a lore-filled premise: a glitch in the flavor dimension caused an unidentifiable cookie to breach our reality.
Starting July 30, early packs will drop in limited quantities exclusively on TikTok Shop before rolling out to major retailers nationwide on Aug. 10.
To fix the dimension glitch, Chips Ahoy! is asking fans to decode the mystery flavor. Snackers who share their flavor guess will be entered for a chance to win a $25,000 grand prize.
Sleuths have until 11:59 a.m. ET on Oct. 31 to submit their guesses by scanning the QR code on the package or visiting chipsahoymystery.com. Chips Ahoy! will officially reveal the flavor on Halloween day.
