‘Dead by Daylight’ Debuts New Iron Maiden Collection Inspired by Band Figurehead Eddie

“Dead by Daylight” has teamed up with heavy metal band Iron Maiden to debut a new collection inspired by the band’s beloved figurehead, Eddie. The menacing skeletal mascot has graced nearly all of the band’s album covers, t-shirts, and merch, and now he enters the fog as Outfits in the game, inspired by some of his most iconic looks.

The new collection includes Legendary Outfits for Killers, The Dredge, The Doctor, The Deathslinger, The Oni, and Very Rare Tour shirts for all original Survivors. The Eddie’s Tribute Outfit will turn The Dredge into a culmination of Eddie’s inspired by his appearance on the 1995 album “X-Factor.” The Pharoah Eddie Outfit turns The Doctor into a terrifying Egyptian Pharoah inspired by the 1984 album “Powerslave.” The Stranger Eddie Outfit turns The Deathslinger into the ruthless bounty hunter with mechanical flesh and a glowing eye from the “Stranger in a Strange Land” cover. Finally, the Samurai Eddie Outfit turns The Oni into a fearsome Samurai inspired by Eddie’s appearance on the 2021 Iron Maiden album “Senjutsu.”

“What an exciting new collaboration for us to explore,” said Kirby Taylor, Product Manager on Dead by Daylight. “Flipping through some of Eddie’s iconic appearances and seeing which Killers we could pair them with was a blast. Our team did an amazing job in filling in some gaps, as some of the looks we based the Outfits on only featured a partial look at Eddie, not his whole body. In addition, our Survivors can get in on the fun as well with some tour t-shirts. A couple of those even have a little surprise as well, depending on the Survivor, but we’ll leave that up to players to find.”

Dead by Daylight’s Iron Maiden Collection is available now.
