“Predator: Badlands,” the record-breaking latest chapter in the iconic sci-fi franchise, officially arrives on Digital tomorrow, January 6, bringing the hunt directly to fans’ living rooms ahead of its physical release this February.
Directed by Dan Trachtenberg, “Predator: Badlands” is the highest-grossing entry in the franchise’s 38-year history, earning $183 million worldwide and surpassing the previous record holder, 2004’s “Alien vs. Predator” ($177.4M). The financial success is matched by critical acclaim, boasting a 95% Verified Hot Popcornmeter score and an 86% Certified Fresh Tomatometer rating.
Set on a deadly remote planet in the future, “Predator: Badlands” deepens Yautja lore by introducing Dek (Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi), a young Predator outcast from his clan, and Thia (Elle Fanning). Their unlikely alliance drives an underdog hero’s journey, which blends themes of survival and self-discovery.
“Predator: Badlands” unleashes its pulse-pounding sci-fi action on Digital tomorrow, including Prime Video, Apple TV, and Fandango at Home, with the physical release arriving on February 17 on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD.
Fans can explore the world of “Predator” even further with exclusive bonus features, including behind-the-scenes featurettes spotlighting the film’s bold production design and visual effects, as well as deleted scenes and additional insider content.
