Last month, Disney Channel announced the premiere of its upcoming original series โVampirina: Teenage Vampire,โ with a teaser and official key art. On Monday, they followed it up with an official trailer for the series, which will premiere on Friday, September 12, 2025.
In addition to the trailer, it was also announced that the โVampirina: Teenage Vampire Original Soundtrackโ from Walt Disney Records, featuring 14 brand-new songs, is set for release on October 10. The lead single, โS-L-A-Y,โ will be made available on September 12 on all platforms.
โVampirina: Teenage Vampireโ is a music-driven series that stars Kenzi Richardson as Vampirina, AKA Vee, a tween vampire girl who leaves the safety of Transylvania to attend a performing arts boarding school. Living amongst humans for the first time, she pursues her passion for music while keeping her vampire identity a secret, something thatโs made more challenging when her overprotective father charges an overzealous ghost to live with her at the school. Vampirina is an already beloved character from the popular book saga and the record-breaking Disney Jr. series. โVampirina: Teenage Vampireโ is the first live-action portrayal.
The seriesโ main cast is also comprised of Jiwon Lee as Sophie, Veeโs kind and girly-girl roommate; Shaun Dixon as the intriguing and laid-back Elijah; Milo Maharlika as the 600-year-old ghost, Demi; and Faith Hedley as Britney, a super-talented legacy student. The recurring cast features Kate Reinders (โHigh School Musical: The Musical: The Seriesโ) and Jeff Meacham (โBlack-ishโ) as Veeโs loving vampire parents. Kim Coles (โLiving Singleโ) is Dean Merriweather of Wilson Hall Academy of the Arts.
โVampirina: Teenage Vampireโ will debut with a two-episode premiere on Disney Channel on September 12, at 8:00 and 8:30 p.m. EDT/PDT, with new episodes weekly. All 16 episodes will be available on Disney+ and Disney Channel On Demand starting October 15.
