Following its debut at Toy Fair New York 2026, NECA has officially announced the black and white variant of its ‘The Monster and His Mate’ action figure two-pack. This release continues the ongoing “The Bride of Frankenstein” 90th Anniversary celebration, honoring the 1935 Universal Monsters classic.
While the color version electrified shelves last year, this new set captures the iconic duo in a stunning monochromatic deco, designed to look as if they’ve stepped directly off the silver screen. Both 7-inch scale figures feature high-articulation and screen-accurate sculpts of Boris Karloff’s Monster and Elsa Lanchester’s Bride.
The figures feature multiple interchangeable heads and hands, allowing collectors to recreate their most iconic cinematic poses. The Bride is further enhanced by a tailored soft-goods robe, ensuring her look is as screen-accurate as possible. Topping off the release is collector-friendly window box packaging, which includes a unique slipcover inspired by the Bride’s signature surgical bandages.
Fans won’t have to wait long to bring the Monser and his mate home; NECA has confirmed a Spring 2026 release window. Check out the first look at these classic monsters below:
