French independent game studio Lake On Fire has announced its debut title, Don’t Go Live. Tapping into the eerie voyeurism of modern live-streaming culture, this first-person paranormal horror game introduces a lethal twist: your real-life audience has the power to influence your survival.
In Don’t Go Live, players take on the role of an urbex livestreamer who explores abandoned locations to satisfy their audience’s appetite for unsettling content. It’s a high-stakes game of “content at any cost”—but the deeper you go, the more the entities lurking in the shadows take notice.
The game’s defining mechanic is its Twitch chat integration, allowing players to connect the game to their real-life audience. Viewer messages, emotes, and spam trigger real-time in-game events. The more the audience reacts, the more dangerous the situation becomes. Players without a Twitch account can also use a simulated chat to experience the full game.
A free demo of Don’t Go Live—featuring one full location, a unique entity, and a complete gameplay loop—is set to drop on Steam on April 29, 2026. A launch date for the full game and its pricing have not yet been announced.
