Fortnite’s hit annual Halloween event is breaking out of the battle royale and dropping into the real world. Universal has announced that “Fortnitemares” will officially debut as an all-new scare zone at Halloween Horror Nights at both Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood this fall.
Theme park guests will step into “Freaky Fields,” a Halloween-inspired living battleground threatened by an ominous force. The immersive zone will feature the iconic Battle Bus and a horde of familiar Fortnitemares characters—alongside exclusive new additions created specifically for the parks—as fans attempt to survive the gauntlet and claim a Victory Royale.
Exclusive merch inspired by the scare zone, including a graphic tee, decal set, and acrylic collectible, is available now in-park at both resorts and hits ShopUniversal.com starting Thursday, July 23, at 9 a.m. PST.
Halloween Horror Nights runs on select nights at Universal Orlando Resort from Aug. 28 through Nov. 1, and at Universal Studios Hollywood from Sept. 3 through Nov. 1.
At Universal Studios Hollywood, guests can choose from a variety of ticket options, including General Admission, Universal Express, R.I.P. Tour, Day/Night, After 2 p.m. Day/Night, and the Early Access Ticket that provides entry to select haunted houses beginning at 5:30 p.m. Plus, the popular Frequent Fear Pass and Ultimate Fear Pass allow guests to experience scares again and again throughout the season.
