Freeform Announces the Return of ’31 Nights of Halloween’

After the success of last year’s expanded “31 Nights of Halloween,” Freeform is doubling down on Halloween with an even bigger Halloween programming lineup.

Thanks to the popularity of last year’s “Hocus Pocus 25th Anniversary Halloween Bash,” the network is going to bring the party back in 2019 with a new original special, “Halloween Extravaganza Bash” (working title). This year, the special will honor the icons of the season and celebrate the most beloved movies, television shows and music artists who have become synonymous with Halloween.

The network also announced new movies joining the 2019 lineup including Ghostbusters, which turns 25 this year and its sequel Ghostbusters 2. The network will also be airing the Scream trilogy over the course of the event along with the films you have come to expect year after year like The Addams Family, The Nightmare Before Christmas, and of course Hocus Pocus, which the network aired a record 27 times last Halloween season.

I’m sure we’ll be hearing more about this year’s lineup in the coming months, I’m just hoping they bring back the Freeform Halloween House!
