Funko has debuted a new series of Funko Pop! figures to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the 1995 film “Casper.” For the release, Pop! figures have been created of the characters Kat, played by Christina Ricci in the movie, Casper, Stretch, Fatso, and Stinkie. The new figures are estimated to arrive in September 2025 and are available for pre-order now at the links below.
Kat Harvey Funko Pop! – $14.99
The Kat Harvey Funko Pop! features Kat in her iconic white dress and boots, which she wears to the Halloween party in the film.
Casper 30th Anniversary Funko Pop! – $14.99
For the 30th anniversary, Funko is releasing a Pop! figure of Casper featuring the friendly ghost holding the Lazarus potion. However, a special limited edition chase variant of the figure is also being released, meaning that some Casper fans may have the opportunity to get Casper in his human form, which Devon Sawa played in the film.
Stretch, Fatso, and Stinkie Funko Pop! 3-Pack – $44.99
Casper’s mischievous uncles Stretch, Fatso, and Stinkie are being released as a 3-pack.
Funko Exclusive Casper with Chef’s Hat – $14.99
Funko is also releasing a Funko shop exclusive Casper Pop! featuring the friendly ghost wearing a chef’s hat, inspired by the scene in the film where Casper tries to impress Kat by making her breakfast. A release date for the figure was not announced, but you can visit the Funko website and sign up to be notified when it’s released.
“Casper” was released on May 26, 1995, and tells the story of Kat Harvey, a teenage girl who moves with her father into a dilapidated mansion that is haunted by a mischievous trio of ghosts – Stretch, Stinkie, and Fatso – and their nephew, Casper. As Kat’s father tries to rid the house of its spectral residents, Kat befriends Casper, who longs for a friend and yearns to be human.
As their bond grows, they uncover secrets about the mansion and Casper’s past while a greedy heiress hunts for hidden treasure within the house. The film culminates in a race against time to find the treasure and a magical moment when Casper briefly becomes human, allowing him to dance with Kat at a school party before returning to his ghostly form.
