During this year’s Toy Fair New York, Funko unveiled concept art for its Marvel Zombies line. For the initial announcement Funko unveiled a line of Pop! figures, including some retailer exclusives, as well as Pop! keychains. Today as part of their Funkoween In May product reveal event Funko has unveiled additional exclusives as well as new Marvel Zombies Minis.
When the series was announced during Toy Fair New York, Funko announced seven Marvel Zombies characters including Mysterio, Hulk, Magneto, Wolverine, Deadpool, Gambit, and Black Panther. They also announced some exclusives in the series, with Hot Topic getting an exclusive Marvel Zombies She Hulk figure, Entertainment Earth getting an exclusive glow in the dark variant of the Wolverine figure, Game Stop getting an exclusive Marvel Zombies Venom figure, and Walmart getting a glow in the dark variant of Mysterio. However, during today’s announcement, Funko unveiled that Hot Topic will also be getting an exclusive Silver Surfer.
For fans of the Funko minis series, the toymaker also unveiled a full collection of Marvel Zombies minis featuring some of your favorite Marvel characters in zombie form. As with the Pop! figures there will be some exclusives with GameStop and the Funko Shop both getting exclusive characters or character variants.
The GameStop series will also include a black and white Deadpool variant, She Hulk, and a glow-in-the-dark Gambit.
The Funko shop series will include a glow-in-the-dark Wolverine, Daredevil, and a black and white Magneto variant.
The majority of the Marvel Zombies collection is due to be released this September with the exception being the Hot Topic She Hulk, which now shows a release date of January 2021. Most of the Marvel Zombies figures are available now for pre-order from their respective retailers. Links to pre-order products are available below:
