‘Ghostbusters: The Video Game’ Is Getting a Remaster and It’s Being Released Later This Year

It was announced this week that “Ghostbusters: The Video Game” is getting an HD remaster and it’s coming to all of the current gen systems and PC later this year.

The critically acclaimed action-adventure game based on the Ghostbusters franchise was first released in 2009 and featured the voice talents and likenesses of the original Ghostbusters movie actors Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, Bill Murray, and Ernie Hudson.

Written by the writers of the original films, Dan Akroyd and Harold Ramis, you play through a storyline campaign where you battle and capture ghosts, protecting the city of New York.

While an actual release date was not announced, the game is expected to be released sometime this year and will be available on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and on PC through the Epic Games Store once released.
