Ghoulish Bunny Studios Launches Kickstarter for New Art Book ‘Dark Tidings’

It’s been a while since I’ve mentioned Ghoulish Bunny Studios, the art studio who brought us the Horror Bunny Icons series back in 2017 and one of ten artists I highlight from Midsummer Scream 2018. Lead by artist Diana Levin, the studio releases a number of unique dark, and macabre creations in the form of prints, buttons, stickers, and more. But this week, the studio announced the launch of a new Kickstarter campaign to help fund a new art book featuring some of the Levin’s best macabre works from 2018.

Titled “Dark Tidings,” the 32 page, 6″ x 9″ soft cover book will contain 28 unique monochromatic illustrations, including Levin’s favorite pieces from Inktober, art from her Ghoulish Grimoire series and other spooky sketches from 2018.

In addition to the book, Levin is also releasing 3 new soft enamel pin designs for the project. The series, which is called “Love Hurts” was inspired by some of the monthly sketch cards she does on Patreon.

Rewards for the Kickstarter start with a donation as low as $12, which will score you one of the enamel pins of your choice. A $22 donation will score you a signed copy of the book when it’s released and there are seven other reward tiers that follow, with the highest being “The Demons Loot,” which will go to backers of $150 or more and includes a signed book, all three enamel pins, a freehand custom sketch inside the book, and a “Mystery Collection Pack.”

The campaign ends on April 8, 2019, and at the time of this writing the campaign was already 1/5 of the way to its $5,000 goal. If you’d like to get your hands on this gorgeous new art book and make a contribution to the campaign you can do so that the Dark Tidings Art Book Kickstarter page.
