Today, HBO Max announced three new adult animated series, including one inspired by Mystery Inc. brainiac Velma Dinkley.
The adult animated comedy series will tell the origin story of the unsung and underappreciated brains of the Mystery Inc. gang. An original and humorous spin that unmasks the complex and colorful past of one of America’s most beloved mystery solvers, executive producer Mindy Kaling will voice the titular character.
Warner Bros. Animation will produce the new series, with Charlie Grandy, Howard Klein, and Sam Register also serving as executive producers.
